Search capability in frontend

Hi,

Is it possible to have a search function to search for data saved with ckforms and then display the results in the frontend? At the moment there isnt any free database search extension for joomla. The closest i've found is joo database which is still having bugs and there isnt any support available for this.

I've read this post while I'm devoloping a new extension of ckforms named CKStatistics...
the name is clear: the intention is to create a extension of component that allows you to set the fields on which you want to make statistics analisys(this is already made up from me).

Now the next step would be to implement a task that allows you to search the data saved by someone trough ckforms ... have you an idea or suggestion on how to do this??
